The younger generation is shaping the future of consumer services. Recognizing this, S & S Market Research & Consultancy undertook a study in Dubai, Sharjah, and Abu Dhabi to understand how Gen Z engages with Fujifilm’s online printing and photo kiosks
The research revealed a considerable awareness gap—many consumers were unfamiliar with existing kiosks and online platforms. Respondents also pointed to challenges such as delivery delays and pricing concerns. Suggestions included introducing kiosks in malls, universities, and workplaces, and building a seamless online platform.
To capture authentic insights, the study combined surveys with experiential engagement at events such as Xposure, a photography exhibition. Incentives like Amazon gift vouchers proved effective in encouraging participation while ensuring diverse representation.
The findings show that Gen Z expects speed, convenience, and affordability, but also values meaningful, creative experiences. By highlighting these insights, S & S Market Research & Consultancy enabled Fujifilm to align its offerings more closely with the needs of its future customers.
